Am I CRAZY
Add the PSE, the amount of money you are losing including tax doesn't justify it.
I have had an aftermarket exhaust on all my previous cars and I have to say, Porsche has done an amazing job on this exhaust system. I'm sure aftermarket sounds good too but the PSE is unique.

It just so happens that the stock exhaust (non PSE) is pretty good in contrast to previous 997 and 996 cars .
My feeling is that you may as well save the money and plunk it into the next car .

With the valve open its more aggressive then PSE everywhere!!!! With the valve closed, its slightly deeper and just a touch louder then non PSE exhaust.
I had it installed at the dealer, and they were all extremely impressed with the fit and finish of the product, if you know Akra, then you would expect the best from them.
BTW, to the OP just get the PSE or center xpipe. Way cheaper than buying a new car. I have the PSE and do like the sound of it but just need something louder since iam coming from a e92 m3 with catless xpipe and bastuck race exhaust.

Are the side resonators different with the PSE? It looks like you could get PSE for under $1000 if you don't have to replace the side mufflers. http://sonnenporscheoemparts.com/par...iagram=6934465
