My car looks like it will be coming to RI on Aug 9th, any idea how long before it gets to the dealer in Michigan?

Took 6 or 7 for me. One day to actually of load. It then has to clear customs and everyone is at the mercy of the Gov't ( hi, I'm from the government and I am here to help you - 12 most feared words in the English language). It could take a day. It could take several. Then, loaded onto a trick heading your way - might need a day or two for a truck going to your area. Remember, lots of companies go through RI. If you come in at an off time where ther are not a lot of boats off loading, that can help.

Mine took about a week from arriving at the port in RI to my dealer in NJ.

 

Plan on two weeks, you may get lucky and get it sooner but don't count on it!

 

Mine took 1.5 months from arrival in Davisville until it reached my dealer in NJ, but mine was a special case (first shipment of the C4s that were held at the port until Porsche gave the OK to release them after the new year turned).

Once the year flipped and they were ok to let them go it was two days from RI to NJ for mine.

 

car is set to arrive at RI on the 11th
now I need to figure out when it will actually get to the dealer.

 

looks like it will be ~ 2 weeks.
