My 2014 C2S
My 2014 C2S
On April 10th, I originally ordered a 2014 base Carrera (C2). After discussions with forum members, I changed the order to a C2S on May 13th, with a delivery date of September 13th. I took delivery last night (Tuesday), over two weeks early.
Here is my build:
Amaranth Red Metallic
Luxor Beige Standard Interior
Carpet Deviation (Black)
PDK
Premium Package Plus
Power Sport Seats (14-way)
Bose® Audio Package
Porsche Dynamic Light System(PDLS)
ParkAssist (rear)
Electric Sunroof
Electric folding exterior mirrors
Sport Exhaust System
Sport Chrono Package
Sport Techno Wheels
Instrument Dials in Black
Smoking package
Sport Design Steering Wheel.
I was happy that the Dealer finally stopped putting front plate brackets on the vehicles (not required in Nevada).
As of yet, I have not found any brown spots in the paint. Also, there’s 305s (P-Zeros) with the Sport Techno wheels.
It was a looong wait (over four months), but I’m super happy now.

I'm very happy with the new Amaranth Red (for the new 2014).
However, in all honesty, I think the color is a little "orangey."
I think I liked the older Ruby Red better as it was more "redder."
It's just an idle observation though!

I started out with the C2 because I didn't think I "needed" the extra stuff anymore. It simply came down to the fact that, having had two C2S's prior, I didn't want to make a BIG mistake. As pointed out by several (knowledgeable) forum members, it's far better to spend an extra $10K, and have a little more than you needed, than having already spent $100K, and always wonder, what if I had the ... etc. etc.
