C2S VS. C4S styling
I've seen some black and white Aston Martins with clear tails and it looks quite nice. But i agree with other members that it would look better on lighter colors
the 991 hips from what i can tell and from what i was told are not as apparent as the previous models on the C4S. Somewhere in the range of 3 inches total. I was at the showroom comparing the c2S and c4s and it was hard for me to notice the difference. On previous models would def opt for the c4s.
I do believe it is less noticeable ! The difference is only 4.4cm / 1.7inch if I remember correctly. Furthermore, put a dark colored c4 next to my white c2, and you'll have a hard time seeing the difference if you look past the red bar and side rockers.
4s aesthetics
i could validly be accused of buying the c4 solely on account of the lightbar (and for that matter the S largely on account of the red brakes). so that's where i cast my vote on the looks.
that said, i think the width difference is only really noticeable if you can do a side by side comparison.
w/r/t the 'feel', i think the only time i've gone more than 1/2 of of the power going to the front wheel was on a very steep incline from a slow-speed / stationary. barring that, never more than a few bars and for a microsecond at that towards the front wheel.
drive the car in the NE but not going to take the car out in the winter b/c i don't want to deal with getting all-weathers put on the car. Have been told even with AWD that i do NOT want to be driving this during the winter with summers on. would be curious if people thought otherwise.

It is just more or does the C4S look a lot better to me with those wide hipe and the light bar? I feel like it adds a uniqueness to the car and stands out more. Don't get me wrong, the C2S is gorgeous and not trying to bash anyone else's car, but I love the C4S. Mine went into the body shop August 30th, so I'm expecting it in about a month or so.
In my opinion the C4S is by far the better looking car . In fact in silver or platinum it looks like a spaceship . I just prefer the rear wheel version in terms of driving (it has less weight ) . I do feel that as a street car the 4S is more versatile though . There are a lot of perks to the 4S but my feeling has always been to bypass the 4s and go right for the Turbo . That thought process adds a new twist given that the new Turbo is a PDK only vehicle and if one wants a manual the 4S offers that choice.

I drove my C2S all winter with low temps with sumer tires- so long as the streets were dry and snow free. I have found it is correct that summer performance tires are useless to the point of dangerous in any snow at all, and way less effective if it is wet. They get and ride harder in temps below 40F, and have less grip for cornering and braking, so they are not safely driven like it was warm.
(On an Infiniti I purchased in November, I replaced the PS2s a month later after the first time I drove it in light snow- so I know not to even think about it with the 991).
But if you drive accordingly (and in particular remember that stopping distances are longer), they are not such a problem that the car is unusable- unless there is moisture and in particular frozen moisture.
