porshanut is infamous around these parts
I am thinking of keeping this 991 past the four year warranty as I like the car. It is a stock 991S and I do all the required service with my dealer. I don't track the car and know how to drive it properly so it is in great shape with about 5K miles per year. If I do keep it, I plan to go to my service manager and have a heart to heart talk with him to see which aftermarket program he recommends and get him involved. I like the idea of having the safety net of a warranty on these cars as they are high tech and expensive to work on. Not like my mid 80's Carreras. I love having this car in the garage to drive and polish. Just my two cents.

If I was your SA I'd say drive & enjoy it 12.5K a year for the first 4 years.
These cars were made to be driven.
It's what you paid for.
If there is a bug, lets discover it early and fix it.
