Video Carrera S sounds video
I was fooling around with video/Go Pros on the weekend. Placed a mic down near the exhaust (in a sock) to capture the sound.

Are you trying to tease us? I'm not seeing a video link on my mobile app. It's worse than a striptease. Even more so that I own an S and know what it sounds like, but still want to hear it from other sources.

Probably catch some grief for this...but...

I don't like that sound at all, not even a little.

Hopefully it sounds different from further away than with the mike right on top of the tailpipe as I have PSE.

Frankly, now that some time has passed since I got the car I actually prefer the sound with PSE off.

thanks for sharing. great clip. was thinking of buying the Go Pro but just wasnt sure if I'd use it as much.

Yes there were 3 go pros, 1 Canon 5D III and a Canon XF100. The shots inside the car were from the Go Pro Hero 3 which is very high quality. The shots showing the back of the car at the end were from a Go Pro Hero 2 and we should have swapped it with the Hero 3 as the quality of the Hero 2 is poor. I did not end up using the footage from one of the Go Pros and the 5D III. The sound was recorded to the 5DIII

Lotta work to sync the audio or does the 5Dm3 have time code? Hard wired mic to the audio jack on the 5D or wireless lav?
