A few thoughts about options...?

1. Thinking about going with the brushed aluminum. does anyone have any pics?

2. I heard that the power folding side mirrors make some turbulence at high speeds so i was going to opt for the Sport Design. Any issues with those?

3. Any pro's cons with the Aerokit Cup? ie, Driveway's ingress/egress, widnoise?

4. Leaning towards Speed Yellow. Has anyone turned into a canary? J/k! But, really does it, "Affect" you after long periods?

5. How about the Windshield wiper on the rear? Yes/no?

6. I'm not trying to look like a GT3. Would some people think I'm trying to pose?

If you like those options DO IT! Nothing wrong and a sweet ride.

I have the power folding mirrors and have not noticed any turbulence.. (and had it up to 170 MPH). Sport Design mirrors were not available when I ordered my car, but for sure I would have picked them.. they look very nice!!

It's YOUR car, so choose whatever make YOU happy. Don't bother about what other people think.

One note: unfortunatly Speed Yellow isn't available anymore. It actually never was on the 991 if I'm correct. It's replaced by Racing Yellow. Personally I liked the Speed Yellow a lot, the Racing yellow has a bit lighter hue.

It has been speculated that wind buffeting when driving with the windows open (which I experience) is from the design of the side mirrors. I am not sure if it has been solved with the newer design (I have not driven one with the new mirrors).

I ordered the power folding mirror for the lights under it more than the folding option. More 'welcoming' at night when I walk up to the car and unlock it.

So SD mirrors don't power fold?

The config looks awesome! Go4it!!

PS: if you get red gauge cluster to match with belts/calipers, it'd look even better IMO!

Really nice combination! Go for it!

I went for exactly the opposite, very classy metallic mahogany/ espresso-cognac leather.

But something like this would of been my second option, extremely sporty, yellow, green o blue Mexico, same like you all the aero wheel , color, etc.

You should get deviated stitching and seat belts in yellow as well if your interiors are black.

I had speed yellow for my GT3 and it was dynamite (IMHO). The current yellow is a little lighter but still a stunner. Alfter all a Porsche is a sports car, a toy if you will. Get what makes you happy and makes you smile.

My old GT3. Sold but not forgotten!

Rear winshield wiper is a waste in my opinion. Whenever it's been raining, i've found that because the angle of the windshield and slope of the car, little rain falls on it while driving. only when stopped. i therefore have not missed/needed it.

+1 on this. I thought I had to have it since it's a daily driver. Can't say I've used this $600 option much. Besides, it's quite noisy.

It can be useful when snowing.
