Thought this was funny, found it on Yahoo's main page. The top article says the new Turbo Carrera S sounds broken, then a few articles down it's described as awesome. Let this be a lesson to those seeking advice on which exhaust to get. What sounds awesome to someone might end up sounding like crap to you.

As for the new turbo Carrera's- I wish they would've kept the NA engines.

 

I think it sounds pretty good; it's still got that nice rasp. I hate the placement of the exhaust tips, though. I've been finding a lot of European cars with terrible exhaust tip placement lately; the new 335i, Range Rover Sport, and now the new 911.

I also wish they would keep a NA model as an option.Also they need to bring back the manual trans in all models as an option too!

Sorry typo. Yes I meant the 991.2. No manual option? Thats crazy.

 

991.2 S and base you can get a manual. GT and turbo PDK only.

 

The new engine doesn't seem to sound as awesome, but man...the updated bumpers on the 991.2 with center exhausts looks amazing.

 

The new 991.2 S does 0-100kmh in 3.9. So in real world it could be 3.8 or even 3.7 thats insane. For stock.
