Has anyone done the golf tee mod on their 991, if so how do you like it? For those that aren't familiar with it that's where you unplug the lines going to the actuators and they are always left open.

 

Did it on my F 430 F1 Ferrari and loved it. Sounds GREAT all the time.
Would like to try it on my week old 991 C2 Cab. But wouldn't know where to
even start looking for the tubes.

 

If you have pse they are on the center of the middle muffler. If you have the standard exhaust there is one on each end of the middle muffler.

 

I tried it and although it sounds raspier and louder at low revs, there's a definite loss of torque/back pressure/scavenger effect below 3k rpm. I decided to go aftermarket. If you want, disconnect the fuse and see if you like it. Be aware that the fuse also controls the rear left tail-light,reverse light and turn signal so don't try it on a public road
