Long time & no posting - here is why

sold thr 991 S in June and finally replaced it with this Lotus Evora S -IPS. very good deal and Lotus threw in $4k as i already own a Porsche. test drove a base & was very impressed but got the S because it was there & the supercharged Torque should be amazing:

here it is before i removed a bit of wrap

Would like to hear some comparisons between the two? Also, what was your reason for leaving the family?

i still have my GTS so there is still a Porsche in the driveway.

i think this will have more feeling and connection with the road and steering communication. everything i have read about the suspension is blows you away.

i was in a test in montreal and we went on a clover leaf - very rough road and very fast on the ramp but the back end didn't bounce, hop, move, or anything like that. it absolutley stunned me.

Here's a CaymanR/EvoraS comparo -- due to the mid-engined nature, those are the two that usually get compared. Interestingly enough, they give the steering feel nod to the Porsche.

great review. i can't believe i haven't come across that in 6 months of reading?????

they had a really nice PDK'd 2014 Cayman S that i was looking at but i just couldn't get as exicted about another Porsche w/o at least trying the Lotus. as well, those back seats in the Evora do ad some versatility.

didn't i see you just bagged a deal on a C2?

these Lotus' come in with lousy leasing. the residuals are rough as over here at least no gaurantee on that value. in Vancouver may be more robust so a residual there makes them friendlier.

Congrats! Great looking car! Is the backseat smaller than that in the 911?

Did you pick it up from Gentry Lane in Toronto?
