Rhodium silver with "garnet red" interior

Got it last night. Awesome car. Carrera S Rhodium silver with "garnet red" interior. (At least that is what it says on Monroney sticker. ) The boys had a blast. MSRP around 138000. The usual PDCC SPASM ACC sport chrono 18 way seats PDK etc. I think the spacers platinum wheels and SPASM gave it a really aggressive and classy look. The LEDs are fantastic too.

Love that combo. I feared it would be "too" red, but all the black on the control surfaces really pops and I think it looks great. Enjoy!

Classic combo. Is that a custom red? I thought it was Carrera Red?

don't know.

on configurator i chose "carrera red"

but noticed on Monroney sticker that it was listed as "garnet red"

maybe something new for MY 2014?

did random web search and "garnet red" or "metallic garnet red" old exterior color from the 80's or 90's supposedly similar to "guards red" with metallic flake in it.

the red seems darker than the red on the configurator or the pictures I have seen online.

i really like how it matches with the black deviating carpet.

i convinced my wife to go for the red after watching a video from our friends at Porsche Beverly Hills where they had a silver car with carrera red leather interior and black deviating carpet.

many times people will try to "break up" the carrera red interior with either carbon fiber or some other deviating external color.

i really like how the black deviating carpet matches the black from the steering wheel column and the black instrument gauges (which is a free option)

initially disappointed that i wasn't able to change to sport design mirrors (after order lock in date).

however I actually like the standard mirrors better now because the black bottoms also match well with the black front radiator grills and the platinum satin wheels.

Was on Porsche site today building that very same combo only with the red cloth top. Great combo even when looking on the site. Must look incredible in the flesh. Drive it good health.

I'm sure you're aware that SD door mirrors don't power fold? That's a deal breaker for me!

You did well, enjoy it!
