im coming off 6 months for $25.00
i did that deal twice, back to back.
last time i did it they informed me they wouldnt offer that deal again at renewal.
they said they would offer buy 6 months and get 6 more months, total 12 months for $96.75
has anyone continued to get the 6 month for $ 25.00 after having it twice?
and is there a better deal out there then the $96.75 for 12 months that they were offering?
im gonna call their retention dept to negotiate,
but it will be easier and quicker if i know the best deals in advance.
i know there are numerous alternatives to satellite radio.
but it works for me.

I found that if you simply let your subscription expire you'll get a great "offer" about month later.
I paid ~ $32 for 6 months.
Go through their customer retention department..

On another car, after the free period was up they called me with the standard rates. Told em no, and if I decide I'll do it on line.. They Ended up giving me the eqiv of $6 a month for a year $72 total) and included traffic which the rack rate is $3/mo..
I've been telling them 'Please Cancel' since 2004 and they always come up with an offer. I use to get $77 for a year but now the best they've done is $25 for 5 months and I accepted back to back offers for several years now. They (Sirius) need to offer something to keep you especially since we can stream Pondora, iheart and other internet music.
Just hold your ground,,,,they'll come around.

thanks for all the input.

The pricing issue is that Porsche uses the XM and not Sirius and they claim that adds cost to the package. Not sure I understand the logic at all. I have 4 vehicles hooked up and they are charging me more for the Porsche due to the above reason

That makes no sense. A customer is a customer regardless of the vehicle. A Porsche subscription cannot be more expensive than that of a Mini.
They are providing the signal / service to a receiver, regardless of a specific brand of car.
I would call them, canel all your subscriptions and start afresh.

I had to call them 5 times to cancel….extremely annoying.
Both use to be better, or maybe its just my perception.
To make matters worse I've had the displeasure of talking to their Far eastern call center and the highly annoying "....... have I anshhhwered all your queshhhhchionsh shhhhir!?"..... No you frigging well have not you nitwit! Arggghhhhhhh !
Sorry OP. Just venting. I'm calm now.
I hold my ground when it comes time to renew my Acura and I get the same offers as I do with the Porsche.... just wait them out
