Childhood Dream Turned Reality: My "Arctic" 991 C2S.
Hey everyone,
Long-time lurker around here. I was in the market for a new car for ages; shopped around for quite a few different cars, such as E92 M3s, E60/F10 M5s, 911s, XKs, etc. Considering the fact that I owned my previous car and drove it for almost 8 years, I took my time and researched the hell out of any potential choices. I finally took the plunge and started shopping around for a 991 S back around May/June.
I originally wanted an Anthracite Gray manual 991S, but it was difficult finding a car with the options I wanted (color, transmission, PSE, PDLS, etc.). It took quite a long time to finally locate a manual 991S in a beautiful color combo (white on beige), but the deal finally went through in August.
My salesman at Rusnak (Rickey Williams) spent weeks locating the right car, arranging the dealer trade, and finally getting her down to LA. Needless to say, I was giddy and couldn't keep my phone steady.

Specs:
Premium Package Plus
Bose Audio Package
PSE
PDLS
Sport Chrono
14-Way Power Sports Seats
20-Inch Sport Design Wheels
SportDesign Steering Wheel
Electric Sunroof
While it's been a couple of months since I picked her up, she surprises me more and more with every single drive. It's hard to get over the fact that my childhood dream car is sitting in the driveway downstairs. After years of reading about it in magazines, seeing it in races, and hearing about the legendary 911, it's finally here!

While I'm still enjoying her stock setup and getting to know the car, I've installed clear corners and tinted the windows 15% all around.
She was also given a proper break-in at Willow Springs a couple of weeks ago. I've tracked there many times, but this the first time taking the 911.

That's where I'll end my short and sweet introduction. I hope to learn a ton of stuff from you guys, contributing as much as I can, and just enjoying the forum along with all of you. Cheers!

So happy for you! I am still lurking and vetting. It has been my dream since 6 years old when my uncle first pointed out a porsche to me to get the 911. Well, its 40 years later and I am still dreaming. Education, kids, career, paying for college and now my wife have all stood in the way. I'm hoping for sometime soon. Until then I will live vicariously through the guys here.
Congrats! The car looks awesome, and the pics (especially the last one) are stunning. I totally know what you mean about driving your dream call. Folks on this forum are truly blessed.
