The Wait Begins.....again!

After 3k miles and 6 mos in my '13 991 4S Cab, I ordered a new Turbo Cab for mid March delivery and now I wait again. This was my first Porsche and I'm hooked.

Same color - Agate/Agate-Pebble two tone
Turbo S Center Lock Wheels
Sport Chrono
LED lights
18way Seats
Sport Mirrors
PDCC
Deviated carpet
Burmeister
(I just don't need the carbon interior trim, extra HP but, will probably mod the tune, Ceramic Brakes... yellow clashes anyway
and etc, etc....

I love my 4S Cab BUT, it's just not very willing around town. I find I need to get the revs up and thus the noise and ruckus which I don't think the neighbors appreciate ....by the way, I'm the 11th Porsche in a two block radius but, only one other 991.

I listened to a new Turbo S and the exhaust note much more subdued than the PSE but, the torque around town in the Turbo is what I'm looking forward to! Unfortunately, all the Turbo and Turbo S' are customer built cars at my dealer so, no chance to press the fun pedal but, I'm sure it will be a nice upgrade and a keeper.

$50K more (over a C4s Cab) to go even faster on the straight and boring roads of So. Fla.? To each his own. Good luck with the new car.

Trimmer, that's exciting! Amazing build. The wait should be easier this time, since you have your C4S cab to hold you over . . .

Mhmhmh. Im considering something similar. Did you get hit big time in the switch?

My 991S is my first 911 and i'd like to keep her, but two cars that are too similar would be rather silly.

Congrats!
I get it on the torque thing and more civilized power delivery.
You made the right choice.

Just FYI - Defeating the Sound Symposer makes the S engine seem quieter.
That was my 1st mod.

Thumbs up Silence! this is how it's done --->

That's great news Trimer! I am totally stoked that you are able to wheel the Porsche man like that. Your like Bull dog and Porsche is a Rag Doll, and your shaking the heck out of them...!

Haha! that's just awesome. Hey sometimes a fella just needs a bit more juice in the goonies' if ya know what I mean.

Take care and God Bless. I'll be waiting for the pics...

Wonderful switch....I trust you have police connections down here, or a good ticket clinic attorney.

What?
I wish I had the money to get myself a Turbo, fantastic acceleration and it would solve all the issues I have with the Carrera low end torque arround town.
Congrats Trimmer, great upgrade!

Wow. You must be a big Torque guy. Why not stick with an AMG or something. You planning on selling your old?
