50th Anniversary 991

Doug Avella at Town Motors showed me the 50th anniversary car they just got in. Many little design touches along with the wide body, rwd, power kit makes this car really much more special than I at first thought it would be. I was impressed on how nice the car came out.

If you're in the Englewood NJ area, I'd suggest you take a look at it.

Really nice car. I probably would have gotten this if I was going for a 991.

here is the 50th edition I saw at my dealership while waiting for my tire change...

it looks great, except for the seats, which is not my cup of tea.

It was the first time that I saw the LED headlights in person. I wish I had seen them before I ordered my car......

Love the chrome trim and the rear grille. Makes the car stand out from other 991s.

They had a little unveiling shindig at my local Porsche dealership when the car came out and I went to go take a look. There are some pics on my Facebook page.

I really like what they did with it, the Fuchs wheels look great and I love the treatment on the rear decklid. Also the retro gauges are a nice touch.

It's still such a big car though compared to what it's commemorating, seems kinda funny in a way.

The seats are my favorite touch. I love the wide body, it really helps make it special. It's not just special badges and color's, it's faster

Thanks guys. It is actually graphite gray, but the color changes a lot under different light conditions. Even though i like the houndstooth, i got the full leather seats. White fabric in a car... Just too delicate.
