Feel free to make fun and attack my character, but I think I'm going to be happy with my decision when the car shows up.
Congratulations on your car and your build! I too have the power kit and burmester and I enjoy both on a regular basis. Some have asserted that the burmester is a waste and if you can't appreciate the difference then it certainly is. In a perfect world I would be driving between 6000 and 7600 rpms all the time (power kit) rendering any sound system irrelevant, but it's not, so I can't. The Burmester really shines when you are cruising and the roads are decent.

I appreciate the comments and have found your previous powerkit related posts very helpful in making my decision. I also think you are spot on with Burmester. I'd say most feel it is too much to pay for such an upgrade. I appreciate quality especially when it comes to audio. I know I will appreciate the Burmester on a regular basis.

When building the car, I tried to think about what I would end up spending in the aftermarket to make the car look, feel, perform the best it can. I'm sure most of us have done the same with our cars. I've learned over the years that aftermarket modifications rarely work/fit flawlessly and end up making me regret spending the time and money. One of the many virtues to Porsche is they make those modifications available (although rather expensive) from the factory. I'm hoping I can resist the temptation that I always give into at tearing the car apart and adding aftermarket stuff. I guess only time will tell.

I have x51. Absolutely happy that I purchased it. Car does not have to much power with it. Would it have to little with out it? I don't know. Glad for every bit I have. Click my footer to see my complete build. Should make you feel better about yours.
