14 way vs. 18 way

I have used both, the seats in the 997 are much tighter IMO.
I have them in my 991, Im 6'1 and 230lbs. I DD my car and track it about a dozen times a year. I do find them very comfortable, and I really use the adjustment on the track, they hold me in place reasonably well.
They are a bit on the hard side, could use a tad more padding.
My drivers seat is showing more then average wear though after just 12000KMs.

How about the leg length room? The 18 way pushed back further to give more legroom than the 14 way. Is that the case? If this is true, is there a way to get more legroom with the 14 way?
