New look for my 991!
^^^^^Shhhhhh!
LOL! Yes. That is exactly what it is. I dipped them yesterday and LOVE how they came out. Very inexpensive 'mod' and the beauty is, if you don't like it, it will just peel off with a little work. Love this stuff!
I did my emblems as well and will post up some pics of that in another thread!
Thanks for the positive comments everyone, I appreciate it!

1. Have you kept the dip on your wheels since the original post, or have you peeled it off?
2. If you left it on, how has it held-up to normal conditions and washing/detailing routines?
Thanks in advance for your comments!
Hi Sizzle! Dragging your (great) old post back up as I am getting ready for a 'dip project on my wheels. You changed the color of your wheels a bit over a year ago now.... So a couple of questions for you:
1. Have you kept the dip on your wheels since the original post, or have you peeled it off?
2. If you left it on, how has it held-up to normal conditions and washing/detailing routines?
Thanks in advance for your comments!

Hey plenum: Yes. I still have it on the wheels and emblems. It has held up great!! No problems at all. (I did blow the dip off of one center cap when I was drying the wheels with my master blaster...lesson learned-Don't hit them with it! LOL)
It has held up to wheel cleaners/APC just fine, as well as regular washings/etc. I've used Griot's, Adams, Sonax and Poorboys wheels cleaners on them without any detrimental effects.
I have been toying with changing up the color a bit and should be shooting them again sometime soon.
It is great stuff!
Super50: Thank you!
Sizzle, this is the first time I've ever seen your car! Looking great.
Quick question. In your garage, where did you get the pads for the tires on the floor? I assume so you know where you're lined up and don't pull in too far?
You have some great detailing goodies from what I can see.

^^^Hey George! Thanks!!! And...Happy New Year amigo!
Yep, I put them down so I have a mark to hit and then I know I am in far enough so the door won't scrape the @ss end and that I won't smack the front end on something...and it gives the Mrs a mark to shoot for when she is pulling in since she parks her ride next to the 911.
I picked them up on Autogeek.
Yes, there are a few 'goodies' in the garage, that's for sure!

Looks good but put the damn spoiler down! Spoiler left in the up position while parked or driving around town is the equivalent of a 'popped-collar' really obnoxious. Otherwise, great looking car.
