Which dealerships treat you the best? By region (Be nice)
Both my son and I go to Brumos. Great people and car guys that support the Crown Region of the PCA
I have bought and serviced two Porsches from Flemington and have had a positive experience
.
Sales: Compared prices from three local dealers and Flemington beat all of them. Catena was rude and when they wouldn't match price, they alleged that my deal wouldn't come through...which did with no issues. The other bid was lower but the salesperson was respectful at least. Flemington earned my business and has kept it.
Service: Solid experience. The "former best tech" was promoted into to a regional field based position. I agree that left a gap but their techs seem well-trained. Had issues with the prior Service Manager who was replaced with a better, customer-focused new one and team.
In the 18 months I have owned my first Porsche I have been spoiled by customer service at a number of Porsche dealers. From stopping by and asking (in retrospect) some pretty dumb questions about sounds and smells, to some small warranty issues. Over the past 45 years I have owned vehicles manufactures by Toyota, Volvo, Honda, VW and the late great British Leyland. I still have, but my family drives Toyota and Honda cars and I am the chief wrench and test pilot for the MGB.
Because I did not want to even touch the Prius engine for it's 140000 mile spark plug change (plugs probably stuck in aluminum head and all that electricity in the vicinity) I dropped it of at the dealer and had a discussion with the service advisor. Understand, this is probably the first time the little beast was at a toyota dealer since its birth as I change the oil (just under 3 quarts) and filters and there is really nothing else to service. Easy stuff and nothing goes wrong with the car. I asked the advisor (his title not his function) exactly what would be done in a 140000 mile service and he actually said "you can look online." I quietly said, that I would prefer to have a discussion. After about 30 minutes he dug up a schedule of service and we went over the list. These guys charge the same hourly price as Porsche for their work. The car was returned dirty (I will let anyone wash my Prius), they charged for and failed to perform many of the services for which I paid - how stupid could a mechanic be to miss on a black oil filter upon which "CHANGED AT 135137" was written in orange. They eventually paid for another dealer to perform every stinking procedure - it was painful on my part and involved a regional manager, a small lecture about the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practice and Consumer Protection Law and a call to the state attorney general.
Why am I complaining about a Toyota dealer here? In my experience even the worst Porsche service I have received (Porsche of Conshohocken superior to that which is provided by Toyota, Honda or Volvo. You are not treated as if you are in steerage. They provide loaner cars. The offer to wash your car (i decline). They have a cappuccino machines (Delaware has a machine that grinds your choice of regular or decaf) as well as great toys to look at - e.g. turbos.
I listed Porsche of Delaware as great dealer…I forgot to add Porsche of Bucks County who did some work recently on my car it was formerly Holberts Porsche where I drooled over 911 models when I was in college years ago.

Sounds like Porsche of Conshohocken may be a stinker.
Thanks for the post!
That is the one I am familiar with, I have not done any business with them but they were nice enough to call me when the first 991 turbo came in and me and a buddy drove up to check it out. But I heard they are juicing prices on cars and that bothers me.

Anyway, The General Manager was the guy who kept my lawyers off of his dealership.
My first issue was the simple mounting of some SuperSports on my rims. They used the wrong collet on the balancer and gouged the metal on my rims. Then they denied it. I had them show me the machine and I matched the damage to the rims. They also changed the oil at the same service and overfilled it. So much so that the warning light was on by the time I got home..The total for the balance job was off, and they over charged me $80. So, they offered to have the rims "resprayed" and that is all they would offer. (Car was a 2009 C2S with 10,000 miles). So, I called porsche and they interceded. In the end, I got a refund for the tire mounting, and it only took 3 more visits to get the oil level right. They offered a "lifetime" warranty on the repaint. In the end, I was so sick of the issue, that I traded in the car a few months later. A few months later, a friend of mine had his GT3 sit on a lift for a month for a clutch change. They forgot to order the right parts the first 3 times. Finally, my friend (who works at the delaer, BTW) Asked for his car back and quit his job. They managed to get the car fixed, more or less.
Oh, and when I went to buy my 2009 911S, and I was at the dealer to drop the trade off, they said my trade-in had been "wrecked" and needed to renegotiate. After a while, I got the salesman to drop the issue.(I asked him to pull out the paint gauge) He retired a month later, and being a patient of mine, admitted it was a game the Sales manager forced him to play.
Anyway, I could go on and on, but so many of my patients work at those Steve Kalafer dealerships that the stories they relate to me about the Porsche dealership never end! It's a shame too, because the BMW dealership is top-notch!!
Yes, in my opinion to put it kindly Porsche of Conshohocken is a stinker. , if my car's engine died in front of that dealership, had four flat tires and I was shoeless, I would push my car to any other dealer on unpaved roads.

I second that. great dealership. Raj is a great guy to know and knows his Porsche's.
Well up here in Canada I'm going to put a vote in for Pfaff Porsche just north of Toronto. I've bought two Porsches from them and took my car there for all service until my warranty was up. Now I go to an independent service place that Pfaff respects and vice versa. Very happy with John Hulley in sales at Pfaff.
Also, liking Porsche Center Oakville from what I've seen of the place. Haven't bought any cars from them yet, but they look like they've made a very heavy investment in that dealership.
Downtown Fine Cars in Toronto is a few minutes from me. They're more hit and miss. Some good dealings, but some bad bad dealings too. From being told I can't test drive a car to mechanics not being able to fix something that other dealerships could to their annoying habit of removing the plate surrounds from other dealerships and replacing them on your car with theirs if you park your car on their lot, this place rubs me the wrong way a lot of the time. That said, there are a few good people there I like.

In the Pacific Northwest:
Barrier Porsche - great service team, I love my advisor and technician to death; Greg Dickensen is easy to deal with
Roger Jobs Porsche (Bellingham) - Dave Tucker is a straight shooter, ordered a Macan and will probably give them my Turbo S business too.

NJ--Princeton Porsche
On sales, I delt with the Sales Manager, Brian when I ordered my Turbo S---excellent guy. I also hear the tech side is fantastic too-----will let you know in March after I get mine!
I think the NYC dealer acquired them so they have more buying power.

Chicagoland - Very happy w/ the Exchange in Highland Park. Bought the 991S and 991TT from them within the past year, worked w/ Nick both times, excellent sales dept. Cannot comment on service as I live closer to Rizza, who have done my maintenance but not real service work for me.
