Which dealerships treat you the best? By region (Be nice)
they go the extra mile
Porsche of Greenville South Carolina is my nearest dealer and though both my Porsche's are far from new, I still get treated like their only customer. Best price and install on tires, great parts knowledge and prices. I have been given the chance to discuss technical issues with their skilled technicians, offered VIP preferred status in the service area and am always invited to new model launch parties. Other dealers could learn a lot from this very courteous and professional team. I am a die hard DIY guy, so I remain at the bottom of their bottom line. However, they make me always feel like I'm at the top of their list.

Newport Beach Porsche was an absolute pleasure to work with, very patient with my numerous back and forth decisions on my custom 991 C2S14 build. Tim Tauber the the GM is very professional and accommodating to whatever i needed. Twee Hayes is also great to work with, very knowledgeable and definitely not pushy.
lastly, i know a lot of you that responded are from the east coast but if you're socal and a usc fan, you're in! Tim is a Trojan
Fight On!

I have had the absolute worst car buying experience of my life in dealing with Dan Comouche at Newport Beach Porsche. He is truly a horrible human being and my fiance' (who is a lawyer) is thinking about suing him, his sales and service staff and the dealership as a whole.
Its a long, sordid, horrible story, so I wont bore you with it. Just take my word for it and go elsewhere with your hard earned money. Seriously! They do not deserve our business!!!
Again, if this is the wrong venue for this, please delete.
I don't believe this is the wrong thread you shared your experience here.
Why dont you tell us more about your worst auto buying experience? That also can help others as well.

Not sure if this is appropriate here, if so, delete.

Its long and involved, but I will give you the Readers Digest version.
They sold me a lightly used CPO 997.2 that had a material defect (documented at 2 dealerships who could not fix the problem-horrible rattle).
I offered to buy a brand new 991 from them at full sticker price if they took the car back at what I paid for it( I had only put less than 1500 miles on the car at this point). They wouldn't acknowledge the defect, they went out of their way to ignore me and put me off for weeks and then offered to buy my car back at a significant loss if I bought a car from them at full sticker price.
Needless to say I was extremely insulted as I went out of my way to make them a fair offer where as they wouldn't lose any money on the deal and probably would have made money...But they were greedy and wanted even more money from me.
They touted great customer satisfaction and 5 star service. They did nothing of the sort. They are greedy liars that do not deserve our hard earned money when there are clearly fair dealers out there who care about their customers satisfaction.
I will probably get flamed for this and that's OK. You do not have a clue as to how horrible they treated me after spending my money with them. I'd be ashamed if I treated people this way.
And, their service department was even worse (but that is a whole other story).
Again, they do not deserve our money.
Thanks for reading.

I completely agree. I have purchased two panameras from those guys. Ask for salesman Bruce Pinder. Very knowledgeable and good guy. They have a great inventory and are willing to deal. Highly recommend. They treat you well.
sorry to hear that. If i were you i'd write a letter or email to PCNA and let them know of what you experienced at the dealer.

LOL me too. Quick moment of shame: I name my cars 'Choupette' + number since I started counting them. Choupette is the french name for Herbie. Yes... I know
Back to dealerships: Hennessy Porsche North of Atlanta (Roswell) hands down. Competent sales team (hi David!) and very dedicated and professional shop (hi Zak!). Pricing is not the most aggressive but is fair and they have nice allocations for more sought after models. I do not think that a few $100 difference with a lowball dealership (just making up a number) matters when Hennessy goes the extra mile on making your life easy, guiding you very professionally when you spec a car, be ready to prepare 10 different quotes and go for 10 different test drives until you find what you are looking for.
I find myself stopping by every other month at least to check on new cars they have on the floor (and being honest to get tempted by new stuff). It is always a friendly experience. I am not naive, it is a business, but it's not like there is any hard pressure to close on something.
The other reason that made me like them is the support I got when I crashed my car at Road Atlanta last September. It was a Sunday night and I needed to get the car towed and taken care of. I called 1-800-PORSCHE where a very unpleasant lady was focused on making me understand that it would be $XXX with an extra $YY per mile and $ZZ for the night. And by the way, if you are tracking you car, your warranty will be voided etc. I told her to go pound sand and hung up the phone. A kind PCA fellow had the home number of one of Hennessy's service managers and he took care to send a tow truck, get the car secure at the dealership for the night and then transferred it first thing the next morning to the certified Porsche Bodyshop. He even emailed me pics of the car along the process. I did not have to take care of anything or pay a single penny. This is what I call earning your business
On the opposite, I'd stay away from Jim Ellis: you may get a lower price when they really want to move stuff... but they would also go above sticker if they have the opportunity. The customer experience, especially when it comes to service, is not on par with Hennessy dealerships. Not taking on the employees themselves (I have dealt with a few very professional guys), but probably more of an owner policy and mentality I would guess. Maybe it is also linked to the makes represented by Jim Ellis that are more mid-range/high volume as opposed to Hennessy that works with more upscale brands.

Ouch bet that hurt to see your car all crunched up like that.
Stay away from Herb Chambers Boston.....horrible buying experience.
