Smile 30-day Check

So, I'm heading back to the dealer for a "30-day check" on the '14 C4S coupe that I purchased locally on Black Friday. Dealer does this out of courtesy, says they just do basic checks on various components such as tires, fluids, etc. after having the car in use for 30 days....

Anyone have any suggestions on what to check for? The car is PDK, all the usual options.... except no PDCC or Ceramics.... I haven't driven it much yet, mostly due to weather. About 600 miles. Did have a set of Pilot Alpin snows put on for the cold weather tho.

Any advice much appreciated, as I am a first-time 911 owner!

Thanks!

Jon

Honestly, it's probably a waste of your time. These cars are close to bulletproof and there is nothing to "adjust" after a month (other than maybe torque'ing your wheels). If and when you have an issue, you can go in and that time.

My suggestion is spend that time reading the owner's manual thoroughly. There are a lot of little nuggets and tips in there that will make for a smoother ownership experience.

Ok, sounds like it is an opportunity for the dealer to try to sell me some new items....

Thanks!

Sounds more like good old fashioned client service. The dealership probably isn't getting anything out of it other than some goodwill. I do this with all my new clients. I always have them come in shortly after hiring me just to make sure everything is as advertised and there are no issues, errors, or misunderstandings.

No value in it other than for the dealer to get you used to coming in for regular service... making you feel as if you actually need them to do $400 oil and filter change..

Yep, there is the free car wash.. but that's not worth the hassle..
