Tips on removing sun visors?

I used quite a bit of force trying to pry off what appears to be snap-on trim covers surrounding the pivot, but to no avail. I was using plastic prying tools but after so much force was afraid I was going to break something.

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The trim piece just snaps off and on. Pry up on the side and work your way around. Once the trim piece is off on the 991 coupe there is one screw that holds the sun visor bracket in. Remove the screw and the twist the hinge/bracket about 90 degrees and pull down. You then need to disconnect the wire that powers the mirror light. A small flat screwdriver helps you open the connector to unplug.

None of this is too tough. It all goes back together easily. I removed mine and had them wrapped in matching leather. Turned out great!!

Thanks. Looks exactly the same as my Cayman S but it sure doesn't want to budge. I'll go ahead and pry a bit harder. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
