NY/NJ/CT service recommendations?

Tried a search but unable to find specific info. Taking delivery of a 991 Carrera S in a few weeks on Long Island, NY. I'm planning to have most work done on the car by a trusted local independent shop.

In terms of warranty/service work, any recommendations for a dealer service department in the NY metro area that does top-quality work? Unfortunately, I've been hearing bad things about a few local dealers.

Thanks in advance!

Avoid New Country Porsche in CT, they are part of a conglomerate and I had nothing but problems with their service dept. I bought my car there which is why I took it there for service, but because of my experiences since a little over a year I have been going to Manhattan Motorcars, and they have been nothing but great every time...I live in the city hence it's also the most convenient...

I have also used Town and had a good experience there, But I waited for service and did not request a loaner.

I've had a positive experience with Paul Miller Porsche in NJ. I live in Long Island and work in NYC, but got the car from Paul Miller because they had an allocation and good pricing when I wanted to get the car. They sent a driver into the city with a loaner and we made the exchange in my midtown garage. They then sent a driver back with my car the next day to pick up the loaner when service was done.

Paul Miller or Town in NJ are both good choices. I purchased at Jack Daniels and think that their work has been OK.

Pepe Porsche in Larchmont is quite good. No BS, and a nice clean work environment. They take the time and effort to make sure everything is perfect.

Wow! Congratulations! Do you know exactly when you are getting it?

I have a 991 S and my personal experience with Porsche of Huntington was outstanding, besides prices which are dictated by Porsche, so be prepared for that $400 Oil Change....

Let me know if you want to get together when 'she' arrives, or even before, so I can torture you during the wait....

Ale

Check the 997 TT section. They pounded on some guys car when in for service and posted a video on the internet then told him to pound sand when he confronted them.

I did check, but can't find anything. If you have a link, please post it, because if that's the case, I'm steering clear of them!

Thank you!

Oh, actually I have just found it.....Crazy infuriating, although there's a part of me (the bad part) that finds funny that the guy did not specified how he can be sure it was his car in the video....

But when in doubt, i will go to Legend Porsche. I have just bought an A8 and a Q7 from them, and I can take my 991 to their Porsche dealer...

Thank you for pointing that to my attention

Anytime. Just wanted you and others to be aware..... I know I would be pissed. Obviously assuming it was his car. He was pretty confident.
