991 Coupe 4S Color combo

Is Black on Black out of favor with buyers- do not see that combo as often as years ago. Looking at used 4S with 7 speed manual with this combo and carbon fiber interior.

I can't speak to statistics, but I still see a lot of black on black in JerZ. It is hard to keep clean, but when clean, can be simply beautiful. I have some of the car on trim and I love the look - lots of complements.

I think it is quite the opposite.. I see lots of black on Blacks.. I think for black exteriors it is sorta the default interior..

2 Blacks on Black vs 1 Red (mine) in my street. One more friend joined us at the track the last time with a... Black on black!

No worries, it is not out of favor!

Definitely not out of favor.. I must admit I'm a bit tired of it since I've had a couple of cars before with black/black.. So on my black exterior I struggled a while before selecting the right interior for me...

But what is interesting and maybe I'll consider in a future build is black with deviated stitching.. Drives the cost up significantly of the interior and quite frankly I'd be worried that the order got placed correctly because if it got screwed up and the wrong or mixed colors you could have a hideous interior mess.

But there is a recent thread with a video with black deviated white stitching interior that looks absolutely gorgeous. Really breaks up the darkness of the interior.

SM ATL - Great shot.
OP - I ordered my 2014 C4S 6 weeks ago, black on black, and the black painted wheels. And the black headlights as well.
I already miss my racing yellow C2S. But, I'm equally excited to see the new one.

I've always had black on light gray or black on dark brown in every vehicle until my 4S cab and now turbo cab. Personally, I like contrasting interior/exterior. Black on black is too easy. Currently, I'm running the Agate with the Pebble interior and LOVE it! I get more comments on the color combo than the car by a WIDE margin. My GL is black with Aurburn Brown interior and it's gorgeous too. For me, dark exterior with light interior especially on a cab. I prefer not cooking in a black interior with the top down!

Also, too easy is silver with black interior. Way over done.

I think the silver with beige interior is very handsome and very euro along with the new browns and expresso interior. VERY handsome and not boy racer.

I have had many black on black or triple black convertibles. They look great when clean, but very high maintenance. I'm just getting too old and lazy for a black car. Just pulled the trigger on a Silver/Black/Black Porsche combination

I fail to mention car is 7 speed manual- real question mark as most people now prefer PDK- dealers tell me expect tough resale.
Bought 2014 car with 1400 miles 30K off msrp of 131.

I just bought a used 2012 991 Cab, I wouldn't buy a PDK, only manual for me.

Blk/blk will always be a popular combo IMO, but I'm a bit biased I'm embarrassed to say how many blk/blk cars I've owned (currently I have 4). I love it, deviated stitching can only enhance it, I may do it next time around. Other colors are nice too. Black is my favorite "color" for a lot of things--maybe I'm constantly mourning, who knows!
