Suncoast, how about some instructions on your web site?
I am thinking about ordering these. Looking forward to your install. Would love to know total cost (paint, install). Also if you experience any rattles after install. My car is rattle free "knock on wood" and I am afraid if I have my doors pulled apart to install these I could be in for some rattles. Are you having the dealer do the install?

My plan was to have them painted by a professional. Regarding the install, I'll take the car back to my detailer that installed xpel on my entire car. He removed my mirrors to install the xpel when the car was new. I have zero rattles as well. I'll also have him wrap them in xpel and detail the car in the process. I'm willing to assemble them and continue with my plan but I need some instructions ...

Had the dealer install - 4 hours, I'm familiar with the box I would not attempt this yourself. Even the parts guys and the mechanic at the dealership we're laughing about how complex it was. Good luck!!

I think I'm with you silversled. One question, what did you do regarding paint?

Instructions look as clear as mud to me. Dealer visit looks warranted.

There's a very high end body shop near me - it's not an easy job because of all the contours and crevasses. They did an awesome job and double baked it so I wouldn't have to wait to put Xpel in them. I now actually have a 2014 C2S that's black - perfect match. They're a certified Mercedes shop, do great work. I would take your time and do it right. Mine is in with no scratches and is perfect from paint to fiittment. I think you spend a little more and you can basically have a factory install when you're done. Very happy with them - really cuts down on the wind buffeting and also looks a lot better in my view. Well worth it.

Thanks, I plan to do the same exact thing. One more question, which parts did you take to them for paint? It's not clear to me what needs paint with all of these darn parts.

No problemo - I literally had them pick the entire box up from the Porsche dealer and deliver it back to them. I didn't want to inadvertently miss something, scratch or drop anything

I got one quote for just over $800 from one dealer for paint and install. Is that comparable to what you paid?

Dead on - 540 for install, paint was 200 but the shop basically have me a deal. If you're confident in the paint shop do it with the privso that you want one of their very careful and patient techs doing the install. Good luck!!

Thanks again, just checked and they said they paint them in house. I'll schedule it in the next couple of weeks.

Can you install these without pulling the doors apart? How do you remove the current ones and put the new ones on?

At what speeds do you get buffeting? Same as before? How much better would you say it is, 50%?

Thanks.
