The buffeting would start at 60 and increase in intensity (noise) as the speed increased. Now I have no noise at any speed (haven't gone track speeds yet as I haven't been on the track since having this done). I can't wait for the "sport design rear back-up camera" retro fit. Way to go Porsche. You know they had some PhD design the mirrors - do you mean to tell me it took 3 plus years of the cars being on the street for them to discover that the basic mirror was causing a piercing oscillation sound? They didn't pick it up through the 1 million plus miles of prototype testing? Maybe he was just a PhD candidate on loan from VW?
