Pse

Just took possession of a 2014 C4S with PSE. Is there any way to override the switch so when the car starts it automatically engages? It is annoying to have to switch it on every time I start the car.

Not sure you can do it through PIWIS.
PSE would be in loud mode all the time if you disconnect the vacuum lines from the exhaust valves. Not sure this is the best option though...

Don't believe you can, but if you figure out a way to hack it, I'm all in.. Also if we could figure out a way to make Sport mode come on by default.. (which would turn on PSE as well)..

Not sure how much truth there is to it, but I asked the same thing a while ago and the answer I got is that Porsche would not do it because they do not recommend you to push the engine too hard (i.e. in sport mode) until it has reached its normal operating temperature.

There is a fellow at Planet-9 who has put together a feature that works PDK and Cayman/Boxster.......I am guessing it might also work for you. Might be worth an inquiry.

Off-topic, but related question: When you turn the car on (with Sport mode activated), the valves are open for a split second, then seem to turn off while the car idles above 1,000rpm. Then, when the rpms die down back to ~800rpm, the valves reopen. Anyone else notice this?
