Finally the car is here
Hi Guys,
Finally took delivery of my car several weeks ago. Thanks again for all the input during the built process. I have PASM, PDK, Sport Chrono, PSE, two toned leather interior. Have done full front Xpel wrap, window tint at 35%, Lloyd's all weather mats, clear LED side marker, and hood liner.
I've only driven the thing 200 miles but already scrapped up the front black plastic lip spoiler. Any hint for minimizing this? Also, where is a good place to get a replacement. I was told that it just pop off without any tools.
Lastly, use RF14 - code for 15% on your hood liner

The lip will scrape. I do my best to drive slow and take driveways at a very oblique angle but sometimes it's inevitable to scrape. It's plastic for that reason. Suncoast sells a replacement. It's relatively cheap. Just enjoy the car knowing it will scrape here and there. When it actually breaks or falls off get a new one.
Congrats and please post more pictures when you get them! Always liked the blue color!
As for spoiler lip- you can get them at any dealer for ~200 and it is something that you can pull off and put new one on without tools, or effort. You can also visit Suncoast or other online OEM parts stores and order directly, and sometimes the price is a bit better (as long as you get free shipping!). This is a simple replacement part so you may want to wait until you get a few more scratches on it before replacing.... you will be doing it again in the future!
Have fun!

Indeed congrats and more pictures. As to scrapes on the front lip, the most effective technique I have found is to never get out of the driveway
!
When I first hit it, it was hard enough to knock it off completely. I thought "WTF - just paid what for a POS car with cheap plastic parts that fall off at the first sign of trouble? Really?" But that is actually the genius of it. It scrapes, not the rest of the car, it is cheap, and it is easily replaced!

Congrats on the car! Please post some better pics. Re: the front lip, it scrapes when i enter or exit a driveway head on (as opposed to on an angle), and in some driveways even on an angle. I dislodged mine a bit on a chunk of ice that was in a spot I was parking in (what a winter), but as others have said, it pops right back in with no fuss. Also, you'll find that the scrapes on the bottom of the lip are very hard to detect, and you can pull some of the shavings off by hand.

Here are more pics. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic but it has been raining the entire week here in Seattle so have not gotten the time to take the car out during the daytime for proper pics.
My initial thoughts - love the glass sunroof - make the car a lot roomier. Also, I went back and forth on the MF steering wheel with heat. Very glad I did.
The booster seat is a Cosco from Target - fit just right and my kid loves riding in the car.

Stop way short of those concrete stoppers....I try to find a spot where I can go straight out forward and not have to back up as there is a big blind spot on the cabrios..
