k&n or BMC?

$ 75 versus 165, I cant understand the difference. K&N have more distributors and more aggressive marketing that may account for the better price. Otherwise they look the same. Opinions?

My independent Porsche provider refused to install K&C as his opinion is factory is better.

With high end modern cars, I don't think you get much if any benefit with these filters.
Stick to OEM.

We do see benefit with the BMC filters, especially on the naturally aspirated cars. I like the K&N units, but the BMC is a bit less restrictive in my experience.

Without any forced induction, your engine is only as powerful as the amount of air it can inhale. By freeing up your filter (one of the main intake restrictions), you are allowing the motor to operate more efficiently. As such, we recommend the BMC filters with all 991 power kits, especially considering the cost to benefit ratio.
