I've got a similar setup on a '13 C4S. Same colors, wheels and lights. Adaptive seats, MT glass sunroof and doorsill model designation. I didn't opt for any protection (leasing) but can say with certainty that the white front bumper attracts a lot of road debris.

Nice! Did you happen to be around Buena Park/La Palma last week or something? I was in my other car, and I saw a white 991 coming in the opposite direction... looking every bit like my car! Didn't see the back so I didn't know it was a 4S or not.

Yep.... debris magnet! That's why I had to get the clear bra asap!

Do you clean the clear bra as usual with ordinary car shampo?
Can you wax it?

The cleaning part is basically the same deal. For waxing, my installer recommends the Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Wax or any quick detailing sprays.

Nope. Car is up in Paso Robles right now. One of the best driving areas on the central coast if you like winders and twisties with no cops or traffic.

Good to know. How long does a clear bra last? How often do you have to exchange it?

Only exchange it, when it matures and outgrows it

I think the materials are specified at 10 years.. I'm not sure in practice how long it will last before edges start lifting etc.. That's one reason I think it is best to get a custom cut job where they wrap all of the edges instead. I'm assuming if something starts lifting it can be fixed.

But unless it is severely damaged I'm pretty sure you can get 5+ years out of a good job..

Hehe!
Good to know. Thank you for the answer. Maybe I will install a bra when the time comes.
