Headliner Loose!

The headliner at the rear is sagging.

Viewed from the outside, top of rear glass the headliner is sagging about 3/4 inch lower than the right side. The headliner sags from left to right at the glass about 2/3 across the rear glass. Tried gently pressing it back up hoping it was just loose velcro, or get it snapped into a securing clip. I have the glass sunroof, with the mesh shied that retracts into the headliner.

Anyone else have this issue with any luck correcting, or is this a trip to the dealer?

Thanks.

If it was loose before, I never noticed it.

There have been several things on this car that came loose or came improperly installed (fit/finish) from Porsche.

Love the car, but have had some disappointments.

Guess I'll take it in to the dealer. I'll take before/after pictures.

Thanks

How long have you had the 991 for CarreraS737? Does it stay out in the hot Texas sun for long periods? Not an excuse for the fit/finish, but was just wondering if it's a adhesive issue or was not properly installed.

Had the car 10 months.

Car is always indoors. Never parked in the sun. It's not a daily driver, so it's very meticulously maintained, detailed etc.

Had a few other issues with the car that were discussed in previous threads a while back. Spotted paint. Loose home-link module missing the mounting bracket and dangling by the wire bundle underneath the car. Now noticed the headliner is hanging loose. There have been no major mechanical issues, but I'm only at 3,100 miles. Some of these things I would rather not have to bring in to the dealer, as the techs may not be particularly enthusiastic or attentive to dealing with a list of interior panel and cosmetic issues.

Coming up on the first annual oil change, so I may have it addressed then. Thought maybe there may some DIY quick fix, maybe clips to press into place etc.

Thanks!
