PCM-Phone Book

I just picked up a new 2014 991 4S...lovin' it! I have been trying to sync my contacts from my iPhone and laptop but the transfer stops at 2,500. I have over 3,000 contacts. Is there a maximum? My local dealer did not know and is going to check with Porsche HQ to find out. Anyone else have the problem?

Good think you don't have a BMW. I only have 950 contacts in my phone book and it takes about 5 minutes to load/update each time I start the car! You will also have problem getting emails (I think texts work) through IPhone. I had to get rid of my IPhone and go back to Blackberry to get emails.

I had a similar issue with another car and it turned out that the iphone software needed to be updated.

In my case both the Porsche dealer and the BMW dealer told me right up front. No email service with IPhone. The Telephone dealer said not an issue but tried 5 different times with each of the cars. No email with IPhone. Went back to Blackberry and had email in both cars immediately.
