From my experience, a car salesman is a car salesman, regardless of brand. You kind of expect if from the lower end brands, but not the higher end brands. And I agree, only a few really know their product.

Porsche salesmen are required to pass knowledge tests. If yours seemed disconnected from the sales process, it may mean, given Porsche's record sales, he made too much money last year.

There may be a test but the world has lots of c- experts that passed in lots of fields
