There is storage inside the 991? Really?

I was using the forward door pocket to stick my sunglass case and comply badge.. Then I realized it was blocking my speaker.. duh...

Like the door/foldout pocket.. It works pretty well to put the checkbook etc.. and is pretty secure in terms of stuff falling out.

Rarely use the glove box.. To far of a reach..

Center console is pretty shallow but suffices for small items..

Honestly, most transient stuff sits on the passenger seat..

But I try to keep crap out of the ****pit as much as possible...

That moment when you finally cave and decide to throw stuff into the door pocket…only to hear a rattle from the speakers…

The passenger seat works out well for most of these things we're talking about, but throw in some spirited driving (happens often), or a passenger (also happens often), and there goes the option.

What do I do about interior storage?.... I keep crap out!
Bearing that in mind, for me there is far more interior storage in a 991 than is required!
It is after all a sports car old bean!

Btw, re the drinks holders... do use them once...I can assure you it'll be the last time you do! Once you've discovered how useless they are, you won't ask for more storage!

I opted for the smokers pack to cover that little coin tray area. But I don't that gives me any less storage space that going with non-smokers pack. It's not like you're going to stand a Super-Big-Gulp up in that tray.

there is a back seat. And as no human over the age of 10 is likely to be able to fit, it is the perfect place for anything you wish to store. I keep the seat folded down so that I can store things under it, (virtually unseen( and can put my briefcase or stuff on top.

I don't know - perhaps we are missing something here. Maybe we should use the cup holders for storage! I mean, they obviously were not designed for cups - or anything that leeks. Maybe someone could invent a tray that has a cup-shaped protrusion on the bottom so that it can lock into your cup holder, yet it will provide enough room for wallet, keys, phone, etc. Sorry guys, I need to quit my job now and go into production!

+1

I wouldn't leave things on the cup holder especially if you are the spirited driver type (who really isn't in a Pcar). Door pockets do rattle against the stereo. Maybe check out a car accessory store for a small organizer that hooks/snaps on the back of headrest (passenger)? It would still be within reach but secure enough so things don't fly out.

Or you could get a storage net that hangs over the rear of the passengers seat from a 370Z.

I wouldn't, just a suggestion if you have to carry along a bunch of stuff!

Yes the 997. They can both be on the passenger side. I put my driver side just in front of my seat so I don't even notice it or see it but it is there and usable. They just slip under the plastic and sit on the floor. They stay put very well.
