TechArt Spoiler

Finally got the front spoiler installed. Goes pretty good with the rear!

Two more weeks till the springs are installed.

Nice!
What is the difference with TechArt and OEM? Include price if you can? I would think they wouldn't be much different in that category.

Thanks!!

Thanks

The front is a Type 1, the rear is a Type II, both from TechArt.

The front is around $1500 from TechArt. The OEM is $2800. Personally, they both look the same, both have the cooling ducts for the front brakes.

Did you have to have professional install for the rear?

I had mine done at my body shop. In retrospect, if you've got mechanical skills, you should be able to do it on your own.

One word of caution that's not in the instructions. If you have anyone other than a Porsche dealer install it, DO NOT drive the car above 70 until you can get the car reprogrammed! The wing will lift the spoiler!

Trust me, I found out the hard way. The other option is to disconnect the factory wing motor.
