Must be nice to be able to put your summer shoes on. I have to wait another 5-6 weeks before I'm past the risk of snow storms. I can only run summer tires 4 months a year.

We Canada West Region, PCA had a presentation on the N series and the requirements from Porsche to attain the designation for the 20" on 991. Interesting that tire life required was/is 16,500 KM!

Is that why the PSSs are not designated (OEM) N by Porsche? Because they last longer?

Absolutely not. Only Pirelli (it cost them $1 million plus) developed a tire that met Porsche's requirements for the 20" 991 tire. Porsche set the specs, then the tire companies develop the tire and only Pirelli made the cut. Porsche spec'd their tire to last 16,500 km (about 10,250 miles) tread life.

I must have done something very wrong indeed. There's over 22000 miles on them

Even during a few freezing days, PSS's were doing fine (not pushing too hard). Did not work at all during Atlanta Snowpocalypse but it was not expected either.
