Which Wheels?
My vote is for painted Sport Techno, which I think looks awesome. If I had to do it all over again, I would get it. Also, as Snow points out, it is easier to clean and you can get to wheel drums much easier.
Here is my two cents.
The SportTechno Wheels are a $185 more than the Carrera Classic. Add in the $1,635 for painting them black, and you are at $1,820 more. Now you will get 305s in the rear on the SportTechno, but they are heavier. You could use that $1,820 toward the Sport Design front bumper or mirrors.
Personally, I would have considered the Technos had they been available in Satin on Matte finish and were all black. In my opinion, gloss black wheels look like you tried to be cool, but missed the mark by a few inches.
So my vote is for the Carrera Classics.

Here are a couple of pics of my white Carrera S with the Carrera Classic rims.
Matter of personal taste, but Classics get my vote. My favorite stock wheel offering. I ordered them with mine, and after a year and a half couldn't be happier. Otherwise, I'd probably do standard and get aftermarket HRE's.
Thank you all so much with helping me reach a decision - gonna go with the Carerra Classics.
When I did the build and ordered the car, those were the wheels I selected - so between the strong preference here and my gut level sense of it all - going to go with my original thought and stick with the Classics. I know many forum members can relate but this is what happens when you're sitting around waiting for your car to arrive. My car is scheduled to enter the Brunswick, SC port today so not much longer. Again, appreciate the helping hand.
