Need some of your opinions....

Just blacked out my new 14 C4s and decided to give the clear taillights a try.

I thought they might look a little strange with the red center light strip so I tinted it. Trying to find a clear one but supposedly they aren't making them yet. Anyone seen one?

So I have 2 options for now...fully smoked or partial clear. Have both sets and they are super easy to switch out.

I smoked all the lights including the lower reflectors.

Anyways here are some pics.....would love some feedback!

 

Not feeling the clears. Looks better smoked of the two choices.

I got a black C4S also.
I think the clear sides and the red centre strip looks really odd. No flow. But that's me.

 

I vote for the smokes.

 

Smoked. The clears clash with the overall look.

 

I prefer traditional red, but smoked beats clear in this case due to the strip contrast. For MY2015, I understand that the strip will be clear with the clear tail lights option, so you may have a better way to go soon.

 

I prefer red also but smoked would be my 2nd choice...

 

I vote for either all red or all smoked.

I don't care for the clear look.

I have clears and purchased tint for the center one, just have no done it yet.

 

No brainer I think. Smoked all around or stock red. I'm not a fan of clears in the first place, but that's just a preference. With the center red, however, it is just awkward.

 

Stick to the OEM lighs. Clear looks terrible with the red center. Not really fond of the smoked.

 

I vote all original red. I've seen to many smoked that are difficult to see in daylight. You don't need to be rear ended because someone didn't see your brake lights. What are you going to do with the two 3rd brake lights, smoke them too?

 

Clears look cheap on the black, and look better on lighter colors, IMO. Smoked looks good.
