Guys...Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I know it's a change of topic, but I would like to get some reco's on the best option for a full Aero cup kit for my new baby.

The best choices I got are Suncoast Parts ($5200+shipping) and Ebay ($3900 +shipping).

Any others?
Anything else?

Queue the Alan Jackson accent and the appropriate music...."He's (or She's) Gone Porsche!"

For those who don't get the reference the song is "Gone Country." I think the lyrics of the song could be (re)worked to make this a quite amusing variation on the original.

To the OP....nice car.....and an original way to introduce your car and yourself.

By the way, I came over from BMW...6 BMW cars to be exact before coming to Porsche. Honestly, I cannot see myself not having a Porsche car from here on. Enjoy yours!

I look forward to meeting up with you in the DMV.

I paid my dues (1year$45)online.

Will attend the (my) first rally in two weeks time.

Rally+Wine+Partagas#4/Monte#2's sounds like the Sat of my dreams (of course with the wine in moderation).

From one 4S owner to another, welcome to the dark side. I just did my first autocross and DE, the car really does ride on rails at any speed that I can handle.

I'm with you on the aero kit. One other option to think about is the sport mirrors. I'm working on that now.

GOD DAMN IT!!!! Not even one week with this car and I already have the modding itch. Just bought an X-pipe exhaust, LED side marker lights, and KN filters (thanks Dan at Vivid).

If any members out there have just the Fabspeed X-pipe I would love to know how much more growl the car gets. Vid clips super appreciated.

Scheduled an open slot for install with New German Performance in Lorton (thanks for getting me in Benji-strong name BTW).

So now just the Aero Cup Kit.

Congrats on the car....I got my Sport Design bumper from Suncoast and couldn't be happier, had it shipped directly to D&V AutoBody in Sterling, one of the best body shops in VA.

I know everyone has probably already seen this, but was super happy when my coworker sent me this today.

They should have put more cars in the mix and I know....no Prancing Ponies, but so proud none the less.

I did make the right choice.

Congratulations!! That's a hard punishment, though. I got a similar treatment when I bought a Melges 24 sportboat, but when I bought the 991 she just said "you're out of control". Maybe you should buy her a new BMW.

Enjoy as much as you can and try to keep healthy. I'd stay away from the brownies for a while in case their seasoned.

Chuck

Her lease is up in ten months.

We went to a buddy I know at a Benz dealer and he introduced me to leasing a demo car essentially (MSOs...not sure what the acronym is). Essentially since the car was never titled and has 3k miles (just an example that we saw) you can still lease it. Breaking down some numbers....nothing down and 24 months at 10k/yr...we could get her a glk350 4matic for 320/month. I couldnt believe it. Here I am with a new purchase thats costing me nearly 1600/month and she may drive a benz for 320 (a lease but who cares at these numbers) with nothing down. She liked the car (and frankly I feel better about her being in an SUV). We may jump on this deal early and I may take her remaining lease on the 335 as my daily.

What is the residual if you like her and want to keep her. The wife I mean.
