Have only put a total of 1433 miles on the car and it is warning me of an oil change.

New Pcar owner here so....is thia normal?

I just bought her with 1000 miles.

I am finding any excuse to take her out....I swear...

 

It should go by the in-service date of the vehicle.
If your car was put in service in April or May of year 20xx, then you'll get the message. Just had my software updated by the dealer to fix this message from appearing early.

 

get the oil changed - it's 1 year old!

 

Gosh I have been paying only $250 for mine

 

Called the dealer and they agreed to change the oil out for free and reset the car so that everything is on point with me as the new owner.

They want me to have peace of mind with my new purchase so I feel its more than fair and more over a good dealer keeping its promise.

Have to stop by to pickup my umbrella and polo (they also agreed to this). So I will get thinga done than.
