Had my first service done at the dealer at 10k, car now has 12k. Just noticed that the next service interval is 2017/27k. Anyone else have the same issue? Maybe I shouldn't complain as I plan to do oil changes myself going forward.

 

I'm not sure, but I'd caution you not to get too optimistic about no service reminders till 2017/27k. I had a similar experience a year ago - the next service was shown a couple years and many miles out and I got "service due" notification exactly a year later.

 

I received a letter from porsche that there is a software error about next service message. (BTW mine shows next service 2018)

Are you looking at the correct service? Seems like there's an "A" service and "B" service, with different intervals.
