"TO Sample"? Is that like just saying "Individual Color" in BMW speak?

That's an unfortunate color. That's what that is. Tough sell. Especially with the wheels. I'm all for weird but that's just... um... not cool?

Mexico blue with gulf orange is a classic porsche racing color. Some people pay extra $ for that!

I had a friend just tell me that it is Riviera Blue and then I looked up online and it looks more like Gulf:

I agree about the wheels, and I am someone who is about 4 weeks away from getting a set of wheels whose color will probably dismay many but will please me.....I just think if youre car is going to be powder blue, you need something like white, orange, metallic or black to counterbalance it. Just my $.02.

There is a big thread that is stickied over at rennlist titled Custom ordering a 991 and Porsche Exclusive.

Some pics on Mexico blue on page 25. To me, same color as the car for sale.

I don't mind the color, but with the wheels it's all a bit too much.

The color is different. The wheels can be taken care of very easily. Strip and refinish. But someone ordered that car. I can't imagine the dealer did that.

I agree. Walter's has had this car for months now... Someone must have ordered and backed out of it.

I think it's one of these colors: Mexico Blue, Riviera Blue, or Gulf Blue.

Its too light to be Mexico or Riviera, my best guess would be Gulf.

It is Gulf Blue. I was in there earlier this week. Walter's has a history of ordering PTS cars for their showroom - they always have a couple of cars that they've ordered PTS. A sales manager spec'ed that particular car. I his defense, you never really know what it's going to look like until you have it in front of you. They've had a "Fashion Grey" car that I think looks spectacular. This one, I'd have to say "not so much."

Mexico Blue is darker and IMO nicer. Local dealer has one for sale.
