How many power kits out there?

I just picked up a 2014 black on black with power kit and not a lot of anything else. I will post some picks soon.

Just curious how many others have checked this box.

Did you get it from Tyson's? I was looking at that car and instead opted for the 2012.

Have the Power Kit on my '13 Cab and enjoy it. Find the smoother torque curve at high rpms a lot of fun. Have about 7,650 miles on it in 14 months.

I did, I love the package basically all performance options. Just need to lower it slightly and perhaps black out badges.

All of us with North America-spec 50ths got it, otherwise the cost makes it a pretty rare option.

Would love to see two otherwise identical spec PDK cars do a few runs from a dig and from a roll. Love my 7MT, but PDK would take drivers out of the equation.

I'm one of the morons that wasted my hard-earned money on the awesomeness of X51.

I am not so sure it is a waste when you consider you get the exhaust, sport chrono and another 30hp which I am betting is conservative. We all know how hard it is to squeeze power out if an NA car so if you figure ~$10k for an almost 10% gain that isn't too bad. Again, I would like to see a real world test. My buddy has a Pdk 991s cab, maybe I can convince him to make a couple quick runs.

I'd also like to see some freeway runs with a 991S and a 991S X50. Anyone in Los Angeles down for a meet soon?

Please do it.
I have been thinking a lot about adding this option.
It would be nice to see if it is really worth it.

I have the Power Kit X51 on my C4S CAB. I can tell you it is not a waste. You can tell the difference especially in the higher rev range.

I forgot that the 50th anniversary cars come with this option. I see one parked everyday, during lunch hours, at the shopping center by my office. There are purses, makeup bags, magazines etc. all over it. I would have loved to pull up next to the car at light and shown her how it is done. But seeing as she has the power kit I am thinking I would lose and lose badly. Oh well hah.

I am also in the camp of morons who ticked the X51 box just days before the build was locked.

I spent over a year on the Porsche Configurator contemplating this and the PDK vs. 7 speed manual option along with the others that finally tallied up to 52G's worth of "Option" boxes checked.

I also opted for the 7-Speed Manual Transmission.

No regrets on either of those decisions!
