Sure about that..?. I could be wrong but my understanding is the next year models start rolling out of the factory after the late august shutdown, where the retool for the next year models.. That turns out to be last week of August or beg of September.

Not necessarily. Often they start next model year production in as early as June. They deliver 2015's in Germany starting around September 1 and as factory is mostly closed in August they have to start earlier than people think. An example, by 2004 TT Cab had it's model release on July 15 in Paris yet my production date is mid June!

Yeah but aren't what you are describing, mid year cut overs or new introductions?

My '15 TTS build date is June 27 with July 4 completion

ETA to dealer is third week of August (I have the exact date on my build sheet), although deliveries have been running 2-3 weeks ahead of the estimated schedule. This is, of course for US delivery. The factory shuts down for August. FWIW, my dealer's next ordered Macans have an Oct. ETA at the dealership.

Hey Andrew, where did you hear that deliveries are 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule? I think I'm on the same time line as you. Aug 22 projected delivery to Toronto.
