Off topic but how did you superimpose the red circle on your pic of the dash display?

Hold works fine on my car when I'm using Sport +. I normally use Sport + in manual mode when in the city.

Yeah, Not really into using cruise control in general even on the open highway so the ACC didn't really appeal to me..

But I'm not sure I'd really trust it in traffic conditions.. I'm afraid I'd get to comfortable with it in that kind of traffic. I'd be afraid I'd become complacent and start to rely on it, and then there would be some kind of oddball or unexpected situation or car where it didn't behave exactly as i expected and I'd be the cause of an accident.

It is pretty amazing from what I've heard though.. Sorta what scares me..

You're right scatkins... You need to know when to 'hover over the brake' and when to relax. But the real odd-ball behaviour tends to be over-braking if anything. Set it to a longer distance (3 or 4) and you can start to relax in the knowledge that if it did something untoward you have time to rectify it.
In my experience it is damn near perfect... And the things that make it stumble are usually in the safe direction and able to be learned and predicted... Just like driving!
For motorways it is faultless... For town driving you need to be aware of junctions

C4S coupe PDK.... Was in Normal Mode most of the way in the bad traffic. Average speed probably 40 mph ish. I was pretty impressed... And I'm not sure I'll be able to repeat lol (normal combined 25 mpg)
