Constructed from T-304 Stainless Steel, the AWE Tuning Porsche 991 Carrera Performance Exhaust weighs in at 12 lbs. less than the stock unit.



Options.

The system is available with your choice of Chrome Silver or Diamond Black Quad Outlet tips. For those looking to keep the looks under cover, we also offer the option to retain factory tips (you can always upgrade later). The AWE Tuning tips are 90mm, angle cut, have a beveled edge, feature the AWE Tuning logo and are 100% T-304 stainless steel. Better yet, they’re double walled for resistance to heat discoloration.





As with all AWE Tuning exhaust products, each TIG weld is hand finished by a member of our performance fabrication team, and flange openings are size matched to their ports. It is this intensive attention to detail, quality and performance that sets AWE Tuning exhaust products heads and shoulders above the rest, and this system is no exception.

I don't understand the statement above that this product is only confirmed to fit non-PSE cars. I could have sworn several members have it with PSE. I specifically told you I had a PSE car when I ordered it.

 

Different product than you think it is, I suspect. You would not want this if you already had PSE....

Our system takes a much different path. Instead of keeping each cylinder bank’s exhaust stream 100% separated, the AWE Tuning Porsche 991 Carrera Performance Exhaust is a H-Pipe type set up where the two 304 stainless exhaust pipes allow the exhaust gasses from each cylinder bank to pass back and forth, which dramatically improves the tone, producing our signature exotic sound. On top of that, we’ve spent considerable time ensuring that catalytic converter flange design is in lock step with a factory geometry, for perfect fitment using the factory brackets. Lastly, the product is hand crafted in house at AWE Tuning HQ by hand, all backed by the AWE Tuning Sound Satisfaction™ Guarantee, if for any reason you don’t feel it’s worth every penny.


ma991, this product is for non-S 3.4L 991 models. The 991 Carrera S gets our signature AWE Tuning SwitchPath treatment.

In regards to non-PSE-only fitment: While Porsche does make a PSE exhaust for the 3.4 991, we have not confirmed fitment yet.
