Slotted rotor(stock size) to fit stock caliper
After experiencing significant brake fade about 10 minutes into any track session using stock rotors with high temp brake fluid(bled after every track event), SS lines and Pagid RS29s I made the change to GiroDisc on all 4s and Pagid RS14s. The difference was transforming and I was able to share my car with a friend last week going about 2 1/2 hrs non-stop on track with no fade. I'd have to call it a big advantage. Strangely, the RS14s make very little noise on the street and work fine when cold.
So do these still work with the stock pad shape? Or is it like the Brembos that require a different pad? That's what is holding me back because I do not want to lose the ability use my Pagid RS-29s.
No change in pad sizes...they are great rotors!
So both Stable Energies and Girodisc got the disks ,pads and fluid to me in plenty of time to get them installed. A big thanks to both who had to deal with my OCD and million questions. Got the car back with the new disks and pads installed.
The initial thought is that they are awesome. Solid feel. Not grabby. Lots of confidence. Keep in mind this is all on the road. Track day will be Aug 15th. Even the Porsche mechanic was impressed from his test drive. And he didn’t want me to do it.
The bummer is they are noisy. I knew this going in but may have been a little naive on how noisy. From 10mph to 0 they squeal like pig. I will live with it for the track season.
More to come after the 15th.

I've been happy with the GiroDisc/Pagid combo so far. Three days at Watkins Glen, two days at NJMP Thunderbolt, and one day at Lime Rock, as well as daily street use, and they're still holding up. Don't need to change pads yet. The OEMs would be toast by now.
Cannot remember the model number. They are the yellow pads fro Pagid. I went thru the bedding process for the disks and then the pads as suggested from Stable.
I am very much looking forward to using them on the track. But they not just a little noisy. They are loud. I am hoping it will lessen soon.

The noise should get better. It's not bad on my car now. When I had the StopTech BBK front and rear on my 2011 M3 with Pagid pads, it was MUCH louder. Louder to the point my 9yo daughter was embarrassed to ride in the car. Between the brake noise, and the roar and stink of the full Dinan exhaust (catless midpipe and full-flow mufflers), it was totally socially unacceptable. It was magnificent.
Spent the day at Road America on Friday with the Milwaukee PCA. The new Girodisc and Padig pads were awesome. They provided a firm feel with zero fade. They inspired confidence in the braking zones. Two things I did notice. First, they were so powerful that I was getting into the anti-lock quicker and more often. Second, after some hard laps the car’s rear end would dance a little in the hard braking zones. Similar to when you have to much brake bias to the rear. Not sure why it would be happening. I was running with another guy who was rocket quick and he mentioned that he saw it as well.
My tires are shot and the day was pretty warm. So I didn’t really see especially quick times. The turnout for the event was high so we did spend a lot of time waiting and passing.
