Really?? Is this car that good?? This is my friend's car, I know it since new, he's tired of the racing theme. He want a a 991 and went to the dealer looking for a trade for a more usable car, since I am always changing cars (04 991's so far he he ) they called me.
Will go tomorrow to see if this deal is closed, pics to follow.

Whats the used market like in Brazil for the RS?

In the states 2011's in good condition are being listed for $20 - $30k above sticker.

 

RS all day, c4s is nothing special at all..... the RS is a very unique car.

 

Weekend track day to test the beast.
I am going to be flamed for this but I like my C4S better, more "civilized", much better looking and drives like a pure sports car as well (and I can take my two kids with me)
The GT3 has 9000km, all of them agressively driven at the track, the sound was fantastic but no better than my 991 with PSE, suspension is very harsh and clutch was ultra heavy, in all honesty I didnt enjoy it as much as my C4S, I couldnt wait to hand the keys back to its owner and drive my car back home. Love my car now more than ever

 

Take the RS, its worth a lot of money these days and will depreciate very slowly. You can sell it in a year, buy another 991 and have $40 000 left over.

 

Maybe you are right, but a I dont see myself driving a dedicated track car on the streets, going to the mall and the coffee shop, I love my 991, to me its all about excitment and proud ownership and not making some money on this deal.
This guy is selling the car for the price of a new loaded C4S with no luck for more than a year, thats why he offered me a trade.
Other than that, my wife will kill me if I go home in a car with red wheels and flashy decals

 

From a financial standpoint, I can see why everyone is trying to steer you into the GT3RS. That car can and will most likely increase in value where a 4S will depreciate. However, in the end, it's your decision and whatever makes you happy.

Can the streets around you handle an RS? With the very low clearance and hard suspension, it might not be the right car for street driving in your area.
