11' 997 GT3 RS for my 14' 991C4S
11' 997 GT3 RS for my 14' 991C4S
Dealer offered me a trade. No money involved.
Both 3000kms.
The RS is more "unique" only 660 built, but also looks a bit dated next to my C4S, 450hp, gray with red wheels, decals and mirrors, Hmm, no track time for me just a weekend toy, so... decisions, decisions...
Would you trade?

HELL NO. don't do it.
the GT3RS will continue to increase in value.. and the C4S will be worth $50k in a few years.
maybe not a few.. but your .2 3RS is WAY too valuable and Special to give up for a simple C4S.
in the long run .. you will very much regret it.
plus, 2wd > 4wd.
if you want the new egronomics of a new Porsche maybe consider a 2014 Boxster/Cayenne/Macan/Panamera as a daily.

I think we need high resolution images if the gt3 rs to accurately assess the viability of this transaction.

Sounds like GT3RS is what you are recommending but why "hell no?"I'd defiintely get GT3RS over 4S for a weekend toy assuming pristine condition. Got any pictures of the car?
I don't know the market in Brasil but in the USA there is no way a dealer would make this trade or offer it. The GT3RS is worth more than a used 991 C4S. Something doesn't sound right with the GT3RS. I would get a 3rd party PPI and also tell the dealer to certify it assuming it's a Porsche dealership.
Get the GT3 RS if it checks out ok. On a sale site there are 3 for sale. Ranging from $190,000 with 1000 miles and $180,000 with 20,000 miles. The C4S is worth a fraction and not increase in value compared to the RS.
Hmmm...very interesting considering the current costs of both cars with the RS coming in at least $40k-$60k more than you could get for the C4s. So in a word, provided there have been no hi range over revs..... HELLYES!!!!!
