Tying down 991 in enclosed trailer?

Any advise on where to connect the hooks on the car to tie it down inside the trailer? Pics would be awesome. Have the trailer. Have the straps. Just not sure how to connect them to the car.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Usually strap the wheels from all directions. When I had my 991 transported, he strapped the wheels. No chains!

Through the wheels is the right way to transport any car in a trailer, use an "X" pattern in the back.

I have heard you can hook to the jack points and this might be what they do when it ships from Germany. They are not going to risk scratching those expensive wheels, but I am not sure. There are also hooks to avoid grabbing the wheels:

Through the wheels as others have said. I put a micro fiber towel between the wheel and the straps. Never a problem. Never use the two hook locations. You would only have two tie down spots.

I think what John's 991 is referring to is using the four jack points to install tie down hooks. I know on my M3 you could do that using T-hooks after removing the jack pads. It appears that the jack points on the 991 have a threaded enter hole you can use to install the tie down hooks.
